'FOOTBALL- lets be deliciously contentious. LOL. Football. Duh! The main event has not even started yet and its all become as boring as hell is to hellraising football hooligans even. WTF!!

Men's football is THE 'sport' I am sounding off about [Women's 'FOOTBALL' is an altogether different 'sport'. An altogether different argument.] and the UK Premiership in particular.
In that lauded league there is NO 'sport'. It is purely puerile business and it should be of no interest to anyone except hoodwinked capitalist pratts. BUT the airwaves are all awash with football news- none of which is meritoriously newsworthy.
Premiership footballers are cash cows- slaves to filthy lucre. End of. Wasting one second of your time in support of them and paying Premiership prices to see them is an idiotic phenomenon of our times. Mankind is truly diminished by it. We should hang our heads in shame.

I want to vomit every time I hear the phrase- 'the club is bigger than the player.' What sentimental ROT.
ALL of the major clubs in the UK have utterly lost their way and why they still have fans is a massive transparent hypocrisy- the biggest own goal in GB social history.
NEVER has such a plainly corrupt system been so overdue for total reconstruction from the grass roots to the top of the tree. It is shit riddled and the stench of criminal activity within it is unbearable.

Team GB is begging to be created- fuck parochial localities, the country does not have the numbers to support such archaic twattery. There is no level football pitch globally, the UK is hugely disadvantaged and it is plain that we shall never win the World Cup ever again.

Restrict overseas players to no more than 10% of any squad. Positively discriminate in favour of British BORN footballers as a matter of LAW.

Whenever, in the future, a club comes up for sale- make it LAW that the future buyer has to be BRITISH and that the fans of the club have an entitlement to share ownership.
Cap ground entrance fees and annual subscriptions.
Young people under 16 always get into grounds free.
Cap players weekly take and transfer fees.
Make players contracts unerring and identical.
Dismantle the system of transfer windows.
Award points for a team's fairplay week on week in all domestic matches and aggregate these points with points won in the league.
Prise SKY from their vice-like grip on the screening of games. It is palpably unfair and exists in opposition to the principles of free market capitalism. SKY and the Murdoch empire have been corruptly advantaged.

'A lady left a rather strange comment on my website book- all the more strange because she described herself as a 'star commenter'. Never knew such persons existed. LOL. BUT she needed to be replied to and here it is:-

Like you I walk into bookshops groaning with new releases and exercise my freedom of choice. I do not expect for one second that ALL COMERS should like MY book. When I buy a book I do not have the time to waste on making apologies for myself rejecting all those other volumes.

My guess is, from what you have commented in the guise of a 'Top Commentator', that you have not read this work sufficiently well to reach any profound understanding of it. So be it.

To attempt any criticism of its existence based on your own pre-conceptions and subjective belief system is sheer folly and I would never stoop to such a thing. I am not that fond of making such a fool of myself in public.

You go ahead and read what pleases YOU. I have no problem with that whatsoever and never have.
